It’s not just that. It’s everything that was happening including the census which had Joseph and Mary returning to their home town to be counted. And the reason there was nowhere to stay leaving them in a stable……not something you do in December

Nope it was in April.
As was the feast of Passover…..which is why the sheep herders were in the fields that the angels appeared too to announce the birth. (For the sacrifices needed) they would not have the sheep in the fields at night in December.

Also. Messiah died on Passover as it was about the remission of sin. The sign of the birth appeared to the Zoroastrian priest that brought the gifts…..on Passover. So messiah was both born and died on Passover as the….. wait for it……Passover Lamb who takes away the sins of the world.
