Yes being in the playoff should be the goal every year now and I think that we will be about 75% of the time. When I think of the hole we were in four years ago, I am happy to be where we are. I think maybe the playoff this year but definitely in the future with what we have coming on.

Good god ole miss played nobody but Georgia , Texas played nobody but Georgia , we beat bama. Our resume is just as good as ole miss , bama and better than 3 or 4 teams ahead of us.

Well that sucked!

1) LOS penalties: about 6 -0, about 3 motion calls, about 3 offsides calls
2) Penalties: UGA hardly had any. We had several bs calls like that facemask
3) Blown plays kept UGA on the field
4) Unfortunately Carson Beck picked the wrong game to come out of his slump.
5) Pass defense, the motions and such just took us out of our game.
6) Pass rush: or lack there of
7) Explosive plays: 1 Sampson run
8) Not responding to UGA aggressive defense: maybe some TE passes or something to stop their blitzes

With Heupel’s offensive staff and the lack of development in the oline, I just don’t see the Vols moving up to the next level.

Heupel won’t stand up against the officials and he will never get a call - Heupel has made generational wealth and he owes it to his team to call the officials out. He can certainly pay the fine - get a pair.

True. But I also thought Oklahoma and NC State would be good wins.

I’m just frustrated as it appears the playoffs won’t happen. We have a 54% chance now.

Ole miss lost to Kentucky and lsu, Alabama lost to Vandy. Georgia absolutely destroyed Texas in Austin.

Tennessee is not the bottom of the barrel anymore but are not at the top either. If I had to guess, could see Nico playing the Manning role and shine just enough but once gone the next QB will reap the benefits and get that historic season.

I was highly impressed with the way Nico played on the road today. Sure he didn't hit any 20 yard throws, but he was efficient and highly effective on 3rd down.

The defense simply did not help him outside of the 1st quarter. Field position was terrible and UGA had many long drives which gave the offense less opportunities. But when they did have the ball the offense moved it well. Just didn't get it done enough once we crossed the 50.

Believe he knew it was an uphill battle on the one sided calls. He had no issues going fullsend on cussing them out.

To be fair. Texas isn't that great. They are pedestrian. Still not sure how UGA lost two games except I think they crapped themselves vs Bana but they had no business losing that game. Ole Miss has Kiffin who is always good for two bad losses

Teams that beat GA could pressure the QB and the fact is TN does not have anybody that could get pressure.

I didn't ask about Hyatt. Results from 3 years ago with nothing present do not help your cause in this argument. My question was about the past two years. Hyatt Tillman and Keyton and even Velus were all recruited by Pruitt

Yes but you said the past 2 years. The offense has been terrible the past 2 seasons and whens the last time we had 300 passing yards in a game. Yes we've had drops but what receiver doesn't. Yes I agree that our receivers have showed up (not in a good way when it matter aka drops) but they haven't been that terrible. And when they have been open they have been overthrown majority of the time going back to last season

He played well in the 1st half but threw for only 65 yards in 2nd half.
