Same, but I don't think we will make the playoffs with a loss tonight. The folks making the decisions will find a way to push us out of the playoffs unless there are several upsets to finish the regular season.I love the Vols as much as anyone. That being said, I also watch a lot of football and look at these things objectively like an analyst would, taking emotion out of it when picking a winner. I will pull for them as hard as I always do, but I think we’re going to walk into a hornet’s nest tonight and get our teeth kicked in. I’m not going to post here all day and go back and forth with anyone who wants to call me a troll, tell me to go root for another team, etc. it’s not worth it.
If we can play well-enough to stay in the top 12 on Tuesday, that will be a win in my book.
I was listening to 99.1 this morning and they had a couple of National betting associations who were down playing Tennessee's chance of winning tonight. All of them predicted Georgia to win by double digits, and apparently, the betters are also picking Georgia. I can hardly wait for the VOLS to walk out of the game tonight winners.Same, but I don't think we will make the playoffs with a loss tonight. Considering they have Saban on there and Howard on there with that yak, I have no reason whatsoever to watch ESPN at any time unless the Vols are playing. Even then, I mute the sound and sync the Vol Network. If you're watching GameDay now you can already see ESPN lobbying for Alabama and Ole Miss. Asked all the panel who's the best team in SEC and most said Alabama, 2 said Ole Miss. And Rece Davis opened the show calling this elimination game. Screw ESPN and the committee.
They did have one positive graphic that they put up earlier when they were talking about Tennessee’s defense where many times recently the national champion had the same statisticsIf you're watching GameDay now you can already see ESPN lobbying for Alabama and Ole Miss. To be fair, at the end of that segment, Davis made a comment about how despite what they said, Tennessee sits on the top in the standings. If you're watching GameDay now you can already see ESPN lobbying for Alabama and Ole Miss. Heuple's history against Kirby is probably driving that. I think we see the GA that beat TX tonight. Agree, to get the respect needed have to win this game somehow. Going to have to ride the D to any victory. Just hope the O has their back tonight.I was listening to 99.1 this morning and they had a couple of National betting associations who were down playing Tennessee's chance of winning tonight.
