The Official #7 Tennessee @ #12 Georgia Game Thread, 7:30 PM ET, ABC

This is a must win to hit the playoffs.

It is for UGA. There are so many what if scenarios within and outside of the SEC that it is really too early to say who is eliminated at this point - but I do know 3 losses and no chance to make the SEC championship game does = UGA is not going to the playoffs.

I don’t think they will be crap for that reason, but they could definitely be an issue. Officials in CFB have been bad at times this season.
This. I think they’re just bad at their job and can be influenced by the crowd and preconceptions about who is supposed to win instead of calling the game the right way.

Looking forward to a hard fought game! It feels great to have a game this meaningful against a top opponent this late in the season!

I think our best chance of winning this gane comes down to focusing on these things:

1. Clean game penalty wise from the OLine. We have to be better prepared for the last second shifts by Georgia's DLine and not jump. Getting behind the sticks is hard to overcome in our offense.

2. Win 1 on 1 battles on the outside. Beck likes to air it out to receivers, covered or not. We have to get our head turned and ready to make a play on the ball. If Beck senses our DBs can't adjust he will keep going back to the well.

3. Play freely - This game is all that matters. There is no need to play tight, hoping not to screw up on offense. There is no beauty contest in this one. Just win. Do whatever it takes to make winning plays.

Georgia hasn't looked all that great this year. My only hope is that we keep it close to mitigate the damage in the CFP rankings.

Or we win, and climb above Texass in the CFP rankings.
Texas kind of has been set up all year to be in playoffs. Haven’t played anyone outside of Georgia this year and got absolutely embarrassed by them.
