The Official #7 Tennessee vs. #1 Kansas Game Thread, 2:30 PM ET, ESPN

The game with Purdue was played really well by our side. Reffing was questionable, didn’t do great down the stretch but it was an effort you could be proud of.

We got outclassed in this game. Offense was bad (again). Defense was surprisingly bad. Don’t think we have had a worse game defensively that I can recall since being routed by UK I think 2 or 3 years back.

You mean literally the two most outstanding big men in the country? You act like Edey and Dickerson are average. They are literally going to be fighting for national POY awards.
You think SEC don't have dominate big men? if you have a poor shooting team nor can you drive the ball you are just average. These are teams you will face in tournament and the test is much more grinding.

I do wonder why we didn’t go after more of a big man in the portal. Took 3 guards/wings which granted were scorers and we definitely needed some. But did we need to spend all 3 on those (1 of which who bolted).

That’s an interesting debate after those games

Couldn’t throw it in the ocean today. There’s always a few of those games during the season. Move on, play better.

Again 3 games in 3 days against really good teams, today is tired legs dude.

We only shot 40% against Syracuse in the first game.

You can make excuses if you want but the bottom line is Barnes' offensive philosophy sucks, and it's a big reason why his teams perform poorly in postseason.
