The Official #7 Tennessee vs. #1 Kansas Game Thread, 2:30 PM ET, ESPN

Lol gonna win the SEC tourney. Get to 2nd round play some team that has a dude named Hans Fluekrak that’s 7’5, 320 and have 32 rebounds.
Gonna be some dude from ukraine and we’ll have to hear about how his sister is servicing the soldiers and his parents had an all expenses paid immigration to (insert small college town) for 2 hours during the game broadcast

I'm not sure we can beat UNC... though maybe the rest will help. There are some major positives with this team. I don't think we can write the season off because of losses to #1 and #2. No one in the SEC will be as good as the Boilmakers and Kansas.

He’s shooting over 40% from three this year including this game

He's done nothing offensively the last two games---literally, almost nothing. He's got an NBA body but is too passive. She should be taking the ball to the basket and scoring or drawing fouls, or getting into the lane for pull-ups.

Welcome back JJJ. I wondered where you had gone. Two field goals in the last two games in about 70 minutes of action.

It's November. And we already know if we see an elite big man in March, we're toast. Depressing.

Not at all. We played exceptionally well against both on defense. Need to get better on the offensive boards but that is hard given our style of offense vs their size.

We lost because we are shooting close to 30% despite having open shots.

Tough Ugly loss. Much to work on especially when outside shots not falling. Jonas has to knock down few jumpers since he is not true post . Tournament will make us better however than playing cup cake games. There is so much we can and will get better at. Happy Thanksgiving. In CHRIST Alone

If you’re expecting Josiah to turn into a consistent rim charging offensive force then yes, you’re going to be disappointed. That’s on you, not him, that’s clearly not his game and he contributes in other ways

You think SEC don't have dominate big men? if you have a poor shooting team nor can you drive the ball you are just average. These are teams you will face in tournament and the test is much more grinding.

Nobody in the SEC has a big man as good as either Edey or Dickerson. Not even close.

We played very well against both defensively.

We will shoot better. It is inevitable. I'd rather have a shooting slump in November than March.

Weird 2022 had 2 number 1 seeds with 6 or more. So you're wrong
Since the year 2000, the average # of losses for the 1 seeds is 3.85 losses. The SEC is not great either so you don’t get the benefit of the doubt like some of the Big 10/Big 12 teams who have snagged one way outside that average plus we don’t get the blue blood bias.

I don’t know why we have to be mad at anybody after losing to a great team. Sometimes the other team is just better. Maybe in March if we see them Z has knocked the rust off and Dalton and Santi have learned to play off one another and we’re the better team. It’s not even thanksgiving people, it’s ok to be disappointed without being discouraged. This is a great Tennessee team that’s going to have a high seed in the NCAA. Just enjoy the season until then and then see what happens
