Glad we won. Beating a good team on a neutral court but my goodness. As good as we are defensively we are just as bad offensively. Tried everything possible to give that game away. You would think with experienced players particularly in the backcourt that we could execute better.

One positive was the play of Awaka. He is a force inside. Awaka left the game when we were up 14 I believe. Almost immediately we began a meltdown.

This is a really good point. Objectively, the Vols collapsed in the second half; it's clear that Maryland had an uncharacteristically woeful first half, but even a "bad" final 20 minutes by the Vols should have resulted in 8-10 point win.

Maryland is a good team, and this was an incredibly hostile environment for a neutral site game. But this is by no means a "proud" win and it'll be interesting to see what James and Aidoo returning will do to the team.

We won short handed with a Vescovi at 70-80%…. Good win and move along. Zona up next. Yee haw.

Phillips looked awful today. Missing wide open layups and stupid fouls. Did pretty much nothing offensively and looked lost defensively
