Last week I would’ve agreed with you. This week he threw one bad pass. Other than that he was pretty much spot on the whole game. That being said, I was at the game and not watching on TV so when I watch the replay, I may feel differently.

I was at the game and that was my exact thought. It looked like nobody knew how to defend a kick off. Everyone ran to the same spot.

He’s a genuine good guy. Remains to be seen whether he’s a great coach or just caught lightning in bottle with Pavia and the offense tailored for him. That season was really about as good as it can get at Vandy.

There’s a family we are friends with whose kid plays for him. Everything they have told us suggests what you see is what you get. He’s a stand up guy that genuinely cares about his players and building a program the right way. He has the full confidence of the locker room and has turned some heads with the job he’s done there.

Hate Vandy, but respect the hell out of Lea. He’s one of a rare few coaches that you can pull for when he’s not playing Tennessee.

Heupel said that one of the kickoff team guys abandoned his lane, which allowed the return.
