The Official #8 Tennessee vs. #5 Florida Game Thread, 12:00 PM ET, ESPN

LOL.

It was still a "mid-season SEC regular season game."

Your previous post did not indicate that what day of the week it was, would be such a significant variable.

So, I guess that people do care about mid-season SEC regular season games, as long as they are played on a Tuesday night?
You’ve obviously never worked in the national media industry while thinking everyone outside of Knoxville has an anti-UT bias. Good day.

There is no mention of the Vols win on the espn website home page or NCAAM page. You have to drill down to the scores page to even know they played. Why would a top 10 matchup be buried like that?
I noticed that too. I also noticed that every single loss TN has had this year has been on the front page. Not a conspiracist but it’s a fact.

LOL.

I didn't say that ESPN had an anti-UT bias, but your logic as to why the Kentucky vs Tennessee game was more of a focal point of their coverage than the Florida vs Tennessee game .... was not consistent.

The big game today was Duke v NC. Always is. Our game got a lot of talk on the other games halftime shows. It was a top 10 match up ON ESPN. Knowing Duke game vs NC is ALWAYS the big marquee match up I thought they respected our game appropriately.

I went to the game today. Florida’s coach, Golden is the biggest ass I’ve ever seen on the sidelines. He fancies himself as Dan Hurley, only he hasn’t won anything and he was the visiting coach.

Golden spent most of the timeouts harassing the refs and very little time talking to the team. The entire second half, the coaches huddled up on the court and left the Florida players sitting by themselves in silence. When he was in the huddle, he screamed in his guys’ faces. He may be a good coach, but I wouldn’t want to play for him.
Didn’t he get into trouble sending pics or something?
