New year / same problem. Can’t shoot . . . It’s that simple. The sample size is likely large enough now to say . . . This is just a poor shooting team. At one time the second half percentage was 18%.

If Knecht doesn't average 25 a game then we'll have trouble beating good teams.

This is probably gonna be one of those games that the score doesn't tell the whole story. All we played poorly but wore them down at the end of each half to ultimately get some separation.

Hideous second performance by the Vols, but kudos to Tarleton State for making this one a slugfest and bringing us down to their level. Hard not to have a few concerns coming out of this one, but hopefully a break and some rest will do this team some good.

After last season I was ready for several of those players to go. I hoped for impactful transfers especially in the post. I hoped the young guards would take a leap forward. I thought the recruits could contribute a little more from a technical standpoint because without it we were in trouble in the post.

We've ended up pedestrian in the metrics than concerned me.

This team is damn good. Even a struggle bus second half like this and they win by 19 and hold them to 46.

Need this rest & recovery time, can’t play that poorly on offense in SEC play.

If beating an 8-3 team by double digits is considered a “poor game”, then we’ve came a long way than where we were before.

Still, even when we are playing bad, there’s nothing better than watching our University play some hoops. I’m thankful.
