I’m losing faith in us. Not that is game is some barrimeter, but not showing up to games like this and blowing it out of the water from the start, isn’t what teams that are legit do. 95% Tarleton would be down 20+ by Purdue, Arizona, North Carolina, probably Kentucky (barf), Kansas, etc… 95% of the time they would be crushed already. Real teams put their foot on your throat and kill you when yo really ain’t **** compared to them.

This team is not the cupcake I was expecting. Vols going to have to play well to keep separation. I think once starters for them start getting foul trouble it should spread out more, hopefully.

They are well coached and a scrappy team. Watched them a few times surfing hoops on the ESPN app. They’ve got some pieces that have the potential to drive us nuts.

That being said, we’ve been playing uninspired in the first. Shouldn’t be close but here we are.

And as I say that, we start to wake up offensively.

Why do we have so many apologists in here? Ohhh this team isn’t quite the cupcake? Look what Kentucky is doing to Louisville right now, is Fran Tarkenton St better than Louisville? Quit apologizing for our favorite teams crap performance. They should be a cupcake, weren’t baking them.

Fall away corner jumper was the best they could muster going into the half?

This offense always gives me pause.

I'll gladly take a 14 point lead into halftime.

Hopefully they put em away early in the second.
