LI expected a better showing tonight from the Vols.

Issues

1 - Elarbee is abysmal but he is Heupel’s boy;

2 - Martinez is bad;

3 - wideouts are slow and can’t get open;

4 - TN is poorly coached and undisciplined;

5 - Banks?;

6 - Heupel play calling hasn’t adjusted to counter what defenses are taking away;

7 - Oline is mid and there is no development - see 1 above.

But TN did make the playoff this year and had 10 wins. Good season but tonight is rough.

He's a coach that's good for a 10-11 win season with a 7-2 conference record every few seasons, but he's not building a program that wins consistently in the SEC. He doesn't have the staff necessary for developing talent on that level, and seems to have little desire to put in th effort to do so.

I’m not so sure he’s that far removed from Butch. Butches offenses weren’t this pathetic.

He’s a freshman in his first full year starting.

I have no doubts in his leadership for the next season or two

Outside Pearce and Sampson, I’m not sure we have anyone else that’d start for OSU if they had a healthy roster. We also need to figure out the OL, DB, and WR development.

FWIW, I don’t disagree, but teams like tOSU & Georgia for that matter have like 500 people in the NFL they will always have more talent
