The playoff is not trash. It is the participation trophies and gifts that were handed out by the committee and the NCAA. I am sorry but rank the teams 1 - 16 play the conference champions and seed them 1-4 based on rankings and if they win their CC game then seed them accordingly.
No byes. SEC would have put 6 teams in, then so be it. Big 10 put 4 in 2 of which would have been in more than likely but would not have been this high of seeding. SMU and Indiana, Boise St and Arizona would have been in the 11 to 16 seeds.
The only game that will not be a cake walk is OSU and TN.
The NCAA has lost institutional control and should be fired for incompetence.

I believe I heard Butch Jones say the same thing. Try being simply cautiously optimistic and don't worry about any of the negatives. You will be surprised either way.

While Penn St is beating their asses, they don't look that good doing it. SMU, like Indiana, has no business in the playoffs

These are the worst games. I had planned to stay in a watch all day long, but this is just bad football. We tried to tell em but NOOOOOooooo! The biggest event in sports this year and the selection committee has completely FUBARed so far.

Because we haven't been here, at this level, in a while and I still don't have the confidence that we can compete. It's more of a me issue.

I thought we'd get run in the CWS too, especially when we got down, but we know how that all turned out.

Miss St is handing Memphis an ass kicking at FedEx. Chiefs-Texans, then Ravens-Steelers before our game
