This could be a reverse rumor. Rumor is the key here.

Sampson and the OLine is so localized which makes some wonder.

If someone stated the team hit with the flu it would be more believable, but to state just Sampson and the OLINE is questionable.

Misinformation to confuse the other side. A ploy by Tennessee or a stunt rumor by OSU to discourage TN fans.

Ugh. My gut tells me this is true. I have literally 8 people in my close circle that all have been sick this last week, and my finance’s family has about three or four as well. It is making its rounds currently. Damn it…

You are dealing with OSU, we haven't take over the stadium but it appears we are going to show up. OSU needs hope and desperate people do and say desperate things. What good news has OSU gotten in the last 3 weeks. Other than home field advantage and they are favored by 7.5 points. If one has the flu then 50% have it. Not the just the OL and a RB but the DL would have it as well. If any of them have a fever they will they will not play at all.

If the source is a fan board with free access then I question it.

That is bad luck, I hope it is being exaggerated. I would hate to see Sampson have a bad game bc of this. He is a great player though, hopefully things go well. It reminds me of seeing that documentary of Montana’s chicken soup game. I hope your guys can overcome this setback.

Tennessee football posted a photo of Sampson boarding the plane yesterday with no mask and he looked completely fine. Just now saw this flu thing, is this something that happened overnight or has it been brewing? Don't think they would have Sampson in a small plane around all his teammates without a mask if they thought he was sick.

I hope it’s false. If it’s true and they are ready to go then that still means the last several days of not practicing, not eating well. Takes quite a few days to get over the feeling of no energy.

Even if true, IV him before the game and at halftime. He’s a warrior and will show up!
