An offensive coordinator that does not adjust and add to their playbook in the off season is not a good offensive coordinator. Opponents may have game film from what the Vols did in the past, and some of that is very relevant, but offenses have to evolve and adjust, I believe Heupel has a few new schemes

I am confused. You challenge someone to "put their money where their mouth is" meaning a bet is requested that UT will beat Florida. If NO SIR EEE is convinced UT will win and you make the challenge, who are you betting on?

You might be right, but you would expect with a few formations you could still complete more than 1 pass over 10 yards on a team like AP.

I don't care if you got a 100 formations, if you can't throw a completion for greater than 10 yards it will mostly yield a loss against Florida.

Is it really hard for some people to understand what your talking about. Dude, you gotta be dense to think that is somehow dishonorable to look at the season rather than the 1 game and make wise calculated decisions. I mean, you have Appy State and Michigan, but 99% of all patsy games have some element of sandbagging ... unless the head coach is a fool.

Well, Bear Bryant sure shocked the world when he unleashed the wishbone in the opener one year around 1970 iirc. Prepared the change in the off-season and fall camp. Seems like he may have had fall camp off-site. Nobody and I mean nobody knew it was coming ... especially the opponent that got waxed. Impossible to get away with such in the information age of 2023.
