The game of football is all about misdirection and moving the ball down the field, if you think they do not hold back plays or schemes till league play then I dont know if even Derek Dooleys wife could help youOh Head coaches and offensive coordinators with Heupel’s level of experience “keep playbook a secret”.
The game of football is not “rocket surgery”.
We just forgot to do that part about moving the ball down the field today. Versus an FCS team no less. The game of football is all about misdirection and moving the ball down the field, if you think they do not hold back plays or schemes till league play then I dont know if even Derek Dooleys wife could help you
They (AP) were almost like a mini Akron weren’t they? You know, I am not even that upset about the penalties that the refs called. It is the no-calls on two blatant pass interference plays in the endzone that really tick me off. The reversal on the fumble was ridiculous along with the no call on the punt that started the little mini scrum on the field. I believe it got to the point that Heupel kust wanted the game to get done before one of the chop blocks put one of our defenders out for the season.
Oh yeah, I forgot the „hidden“ part of the Maxim „I will give my ALL for Tennessee today (unless it is against a lowly FCS school and I want to hold some stuff back for bigger games)“The game of football is all about misdirection and moving the ball down the field, if you think they do not hold back plays or schemes till league play then I dont know if even Derek Dooleys wife could help you
Yes, when the ball went straight through both hands on a sideline drop. Our receivers and backs did no favors to Joe Milton's weak performance. Was Thornton's name even called?
If you do not understand that it is true, you are more clueless than I thougt.
I'm guessing you have never played the game at any level nor ever coached a team.
their lone td was a busted coverage to. With some young guys in the secondaryYes, when the ball went straight through both hands on a sideline drop. Our receivers and backs did no favors to Joe Milton's weak performance.
We did exactly what we should ... Won. In 3 weeks nobody will even remember that we played this game. All credit to AP and their staff. Those guys left nothing on that field for exactly 60:00. We sandbagged. In their last drive that died at the 1YL, we were playing FR and 3rd stringers. It was a little risky w 17pt lead.
No, the poster is just not a "fan" that turns on the coach and team at the turn of a hat. The game was unimpressive, but it isn't like the best coach UT has had in years suddeny became Beldar. Accept the game was lackluster at best and go on. trashing the coach serves no purpose other that stroke your negaive outlook.
Fulmer did it, Botch did it, Saban does it. If they implement a few new wrinkles into their offense during off-season, they do not use them till league play so opponents cannot scout them.Oh yeah, I forgot the „hidden“ part of the Maxim „I will give my ALL for Tennessee today (unless it is against a lowly FCS school and I want to hold some stuff back for bigger games)“
