All I’m saying is if Josh Heupel hasn’t shown you a significant turnaround in the past 2 years, you’re blind. There’s no reason to think he won’t remain competitive within SEC play until he isn’t competitive. I think most of us were coming into this year riding high because of how good we were last year. Unfortunately, this is that “gap” year where There will be a little bit of a lull. Next year should be when the Josh Heupel era really starts to show out. Finally getting a fantastic class in behind guys that have now been in your systems for a couple years who are also guys that you have recruited. This team looked horrible today. No doubt. But we can’t be losing our heads even if we have an underwhelming year this year. We are starting to see the effects of good recruiting classes. Look at our defense. Looks majorly improved since last year so far. Our run game, young receivers (squirrel) look good. We are still dealing with the last remains of some of the Pruitt era/ transfers into the programs. We didn’t play good this game. But there is no reason to think the sky is falling.
