My husband’s family is mainly in the Dallas area and it takes FOREVER to get around during the holidays. I could drive Mockingbird Lane from Love with my eyes closed. He also has family in Austin and it’s the same. Living close to DC is nothing compared to down there.

It really is quite ridiculous. I live in the northern Siberia and if I wanted to go to the south end of the city it would be an hour and half in regular traffic. Haven’t really traversed the Dallas area much, but DC… that traffic is NO joke!
