After Ortiz's HR last night he flipped the bat & took his time around the bases, the Yankees manager said he didnt like what Ortiz did. Well before the game tonight Ortiz said " If he didnt like what I did last night wait & see what I do tonight when I hit one"

What did Ortiz do tonight? He hit a HR in his first AB!! Hahahaha I LOVED it.

Sox up 4-0 already in the 2nd.

C'mon, fairweather doesn't even begin to describe how you have acted on here, maybe you do get too caught up in the losses and what not.

But there for awhile you were calling this team the most overrated team in baseball hostory after 2 weeks of a 6 month season.

The cream always rises, just look at Tampa and Cleveland.

Glad to see Crawford heating up, Adrian staying on fire, and Papi being Papi. I wish we could somehow make a move and pick up a solid 4th guy for the rotation.

See no reason, Wakefield/Lackey on the back end is still as good or better than any other rotation in the AL.

I got ya..no big deal. He's definitely putting up some early MVP type numbers. No reason to believe he won't stay that way either. Gonna try to make a trip up to Boston in late July/early august. Went to Fenway for the first time ever last year..words can't describe how beautiful it is in person. Definitely jealous of the guys that get to make games on a regular basis.

Up 16-4 in the 8th with 18 hits. Scutaro 4-5 Pedroia 3-5 and Papi went yard again. The whole lineup is really seeing the ball well..this is what has been expected all along. Any idea why Youk wasnt in the game? I figured he just got a day off. Lackey had a good outing with 6 IP 6 H and 8 K's.

8 in a row and tied with Philadelphia for the best record.

Anyone have any thoughts as to why Carl isn't running that much? I( know his steals are low in part of his hitting struggles earlier in the year but with him usually batting so low in the line-up he should have te green light at virtually all times.

Dustin has 5 more steals than him...I expected at least 50 bags, at this rate 30 may be outta the question.

Won again tonight 14-1.

Lester only allowed 2H through 8IP.

Papi, Pedroia, Adrian, and Youk all with homers.

This team is on a serious tear.

But they're the most overrated team in the history of baseball. :)
