Sox win 12-3.

Wake went 8 only allowing 3H.

Adrian is still raking and Pedroia had a good day at the plate as well.

Looking like Pedroia getting that knee checked out & hearing that it wasnt bad helped him mentally, he has really starting looking better at the plate ever since then.

A-Gon will win the AL MVP award & another Gold Glove IMO.

Sox just need to keep playing good ball for the next 2 weeks while Crawford, Buchholz, & Lowrie get healthy.

Yeah I agree with Adrian winning MVP. As long as he stays healthy there's no reason for him not to.

Interested to see how the Andrew Miller reclamation project has turned out. Sandy Eggo is as good a team as any to get his first crack against, seeing as they are hitting a whopping .232.

With the way our offense is rolling and who they have on the hill, I fully expect him to win tonight.

How did Miller throw guys..stuff look good? Fall behind many hitters?

Didn't have anyway of watching the game but I know the stat line shows he went 5.2 scattering 7H with 3ER.

& also played some bad defense. Alot of errors in the Pirates series, glad they got the W today on to Philly now. We have Beckett, Lackey, & Lester going against Philly.

On a sidenote: I know it was against the Brewers & Pirates but Andrew Miller has looked good in his two outings, he made 1 bad pitch against the Brewers that tied the game up beyond that I like what he has done.

We need to get Crawford, Lowrie, & Buchholz back.

Jenks is coming off the DL & will be available against the Phillies.

We are getting no production from the RF spot no matter who we put in there Drew/Cameron/Reddick.

Definitely glad we avoided the sweep.

I just wish I had a way of watching more sox games. Only get to catch games on espn or fox. Don't have NESN in west Tennessee.

Cameron got DFA'd, another oddball signing sent down the river. Assuming he won't be claimed, I would say it's the end of the line, i'd be surprised if he took a MiLB assignment.

Sox can finish this road trip w/ a winning record if they beat the Astros today. Like I said earlier Miller has looked good in this 3 starts (granted it was agains the Brewers, Pirates, & Astros), I would really like to see this kid continue to pitch well. He is still very young.

Francona & Theo decided to keep Buchholz & Crawford on the DL through the All-Star break, Crawford should be 100% after the break. Buchholzs back is worring me, he said it has been bothering him since last year & hasnt got any better. We need him in this rotation.

Hopefully we can get healthy & come out of the break playing good baseball again.

Ortiz & Gonzalez will be starters for the AS Game, Beckett & Ellsbury were voted in by the players.

Ortiz & Gonzalez will also participate in the HR Derby.

Since getting his knee checked out on June 9th, Pedroia is batting .367 w/ 12 extra base hits & 15 RBI's

Sox sweep the Astros, Beckett went 8 strong innings & picked up the win. Two great AB's by Sutton & Youk in the top of the 9th. Papelbon gets the save.
