Okay... from another perspective.

Imagine if a linebacker did this to Timmy Tebow.

I can't even begin to fathom the reaction from everyone. It would be sickening.

But Spikes does it... and this has no doubt been seen by people in charge by now... and it gets looked over.

It's whatever. The refs have cheered hard for the Gators all year... hate to break that streak.

It doesn't matter if it happens all the time and goes unseen - if it's freakin' seen you make an example out of it to try to stop it - like someone said - it's not football and has NO place in the game.

it is a big deal when a big time player gets caught doing it on tape,,action has to be taken,this is not some middle school game.These guys have to be held accountable for there actions.This it happens all the time might be true,,but guess what people speed all the time too,and when there caught they have to pay the price,,bottom line!!

I don't collect chiclets from hermaphrodites and I don't hang taxidermy, so just tar them and see if you can reuse them. Hell, we're getting advanced so you might be able to find a special adhesive and just reattach them to your gums. Just splain to bro doing the work that Nancy doesn't work that well for you.

I'm not making an excuse, I'm just not overreacting like he shanked him or cut his achilles in the bottom of the pile. If this wasn't about a UF player this thread wouldn't exist. Go cry in your pillows.

I think that the personal foul penalty that was called on him for the incident and subsequent ejection from the game were enough of a penalty.

Oh wait - this is UF; the refs did not see it. And of course if Richt speaks out about the refs missing it he will be suspended. Heil Slive!
