Just now on Mike & Mike, He said that was one of the most Chicken bleep acts he has seen and that Spikes is classless and and needs to be suspened,

Oh, nevermind, I just heard that he was contacted by Urban Meyer and was assured that he and Tebow would pray for Spikes and follow it up with a group hug.

In Spikes defense maybe he thought the guy was hiding the ball in his helmet. Most players can do that you know.

I can not believe all the VN members saying that "it happens all the time" or "it's just football". This is crap and should be punished.
I beleive that it will hurt his all-american votes and could possible cost him come draft time. Most coaches do not want this on their team.

While things like this do happen in the pile they are usually done deep in the pile and never seen, just things you hear about later on that become legend. While things of this nature do happen with some frequency I don't think the statement "all the time" is true. Certainly there are a pile or two a game when things are heated where something like this does happen.

What makes this a different case is that it was done in plain view, it doesn't appear that Spikes was too concerned about the officials or a penalty, he was after his pint of blood and the camera captured it all. I would be surprised if there is no suspension, especially considering the microscope the SEC, penalties and officiating has been under. I think that Meyer will work out a quarter or first half suspension for Spikes in an upcoming game, and that would satisfy me as neutral SEC fan. I also seem to remember hearing about a Georgia player ripping Spikes helmet off, I didn't see it so I can't comment on it though.

In LG's eyes yes. No one in the UF program can do bad, except for the 25 players who've been arrested/gotten in trouble since Meyer's been there.

No, but what's the harm in hearing what he has to say, first? All I am arguing is that in real time it was very fast and I don't think its right to simply assume that it was intentional.

If it was, suspend him for a game, I've no problem with that. But just be sure about it, first.
