Who gets the blame this time ? The goat ? Bartman ? Anyway it was a good run Cub fans -- knocking STL out was great

Glad we could be your World Series. Beating a horribly wounded Cards really is something to brag about. LOL

Well first your excuse was that it was an MLB conspiracy.

Dude enjoy your little NLDS win. It's been a long time. But with all the help your Cubs will fall short yet again. There's nothing you can say to change it. Cubs are a terrible organization with terrible fans.
BTW I think it's hilarious that the W flag had to be explained to those great Cub fans. LOL

It's funny how much the loss is bothering you.

Not bothered at all. Playoffs are a yearly event for us. I have actually been to and watched my team win the World series. I'd ask you the same but hey, the last time your team won the world series the state of Oklahoma was 1 year old.

Yep, it's definitely not bothering you at all.

LOL laughing at Cubs fans dreams getting crushed doesn't bother me man. I treasure it because it rarely happens that come Sept people give y'all a chance to do anything. Over the past decade getting to watch y'all lose a meaningful game or series has been more rare than us winning a wolrd series.

Anyway let's get back to tonight. Don't get me wrong, I want the win. But I think this is going at least 1 more game.

The problem is when a team lives by the dinger they die by the dinger. Being able to manufacture runs is crucial in post season.

From the very beginning of the season, Mets leadership has admitted that the team is built on power, not run manufacturing. Hell Lucas Duda had a sac bunt (that was really a bunt attempt for a hit) for the first time that I can ever remember. They said he had at least 1 more, but I find it hard to believe. If they tinker with the lineup and go Fowler-Soler-Bryant-Schwarber-Rizzo, I think they could get a walk or a HBP to Folwer, advanced by Soler, then have at least 1 on base for Bryant-Schwarber-Rizzo vs. the rookie leftie who struggles in the 1st.

Cubs can make the same excuse about being young. At the end of the day, you didn't hit spots and couldn't put the ball in play. Almost any team can point to injuries or another thing. You lost to the team bragging about winning the NLDS. That means you have no room to talk, regardless of excuses.

You'll want to at least watch the first inning. Matz has some real troubles in the 1st. Might consider moving Soler up in the lineup. I know it's absurd to move Schwarber, but if you go Fowler-Soler-Bryant-Schwarber-Rizzo, you could theoretically knock Matz out in the 1st inning.

I wasn't far off. Smart move for sure.

I hate to say it, but I think the Cubs knock Matz out of the game before he finishes 3 innings
