However yesterday was a pitching disaster even though we won. Lester looked shaky but that wasn't a shock given he just came off the DL. But the middle relief was terrible besides Rondon and Edwards.

Cubs win. 4 games up on SL and 3 in the loss column on Mil.,they are playing 2night. With 15 to go for the Cubs, a sweep would almost put away SL. First time the Cubs have scored 8+ run in 4 straight games in decades, I read

That happened and the Cubs beat TB for their 7th in a row. I would call that peaking at the right time. Plus, JA returns this week.

Cubs need to win tonight againt in TB, and the next series at Milwaukee is for all the marbles. The Cubs simply cannot lay another egg against them, and IMO need at least a split.

I went to the Rays/ Cubs game last night. Great atmosphere for the Trop...nearly 25K there. Tons of Cubs fans.

Huge win for the Cubs tonight. Kris Bryant with the game winning 2 run HR in the 10th. Cubs up 5 in the loss column with 10 games to go, Brewers have 11 games left. Get one out of the next 3 it's over, imo.
