I figured they would have replaced Lackey this past off season -- Russell should be sent to AAA to find his bat -- maybe Schwarber too, if they dont want trade him

That's what we needed. Hopefully a different team (think last year caliber) comes back after the break. They at least need to win the division.

Well, they look like a different team right now. 5 in a row. Hell, they may be like those 90s Yankees teams and can turn it on when they need or have to. Quintana looks like a good pick-up and for the 5th year in a row, they brought up another stud hitter in Happ

Cubs are back in first in the NL Central. I think it's over. Milwaukee or somebody should have nailed the coffin shut while they had a chance.

They're probably the best team in the NL since the break. If Kershaw doesn't get right in time, and or pitches like human Kershaw in the playoffs, Cubs could win the pennant. I wouldn't be surprised at all.
