Cubs finish the sweep of the Padres with a 2 run homer to beat the Padres 8-6 in the bottom of the 9th.
Next a winning team the SF Giants.

The Cubs beat the Tigers in game 1 4-3 to win their 2nd straight, and 2nd Interleague game of the season.

I'm excited to see how this kid does for the Cubs, I work w/ a Cubs fan & I've been telling him about Rizzo since they traded for him. Loved him as a prospect when he was w/ the Sox. Was likely to be our future 1B until we traded him & Casey Kelly for Gonzalez. SMH.

He's an "eh" defensive shortstop with a .337 OBP. He's not bad, but he's not a franchise player.
