I was arguing with somebody early last season (maybe on VN, maybe in real life) who thought the Braves should try to package Simmons and a pitching prospect in a trade for Castro to fix the SS position. It would be nice to revisit that conversation now.

just becuase the braves found a good SS doesn't mean Castro isn't good.

Ok, Uggla had a higher OBP than Reyes, as well. And like, Albert Pujols. He was actually good in that department last year.

I didn't say he wasn't good; I just said I'd rather have Simmons. I don't think either of them is ever going to be close to an elite hitter. Which is why I would take the shortstop with the much better defense.
