The Official Detroit Lions Den Thread

I really am interested to see how the Lions use LeGarrette Blount/Kerryon Johnson/Theo Riddick. I drafted Blount and Riddick for my PPR, but I'm wondering how much Johnson is gonna be involved.

However, this is the first time in a LONG time the Lions have had a decent shot at a running game. I feel like Blount is pretty dependendable, and Riddick is one of the best pass catching RBs in the league. Just feel like their offense is really going to improve. I regret not drafting Golladay as well. Kid is gonna be awesome I think.

I saw Nick Foles and Blake Bortles shred his defense pretty easy. They had injuries but they were never great under Patricia

You don't have a clue what you're talking about, one game doesn't tell the story, not to mention Belichick sitting our best corner for the entire game. The Pats are the cheapest team in
the league, what Patricia did with available personnel was incredible. And just imagine his frustration at losing Jamie Collins and Chandler Jones and still meet expectations with a bunch
of lower round picks, and1st and 2nd round busts. You'd last about 30 minutes on an NFL fan board.

Incredible? Please. He could be really good, but his defense never finished top 10 dvoa. Seems to be good in the red zone but always allows ton of yards. I know the talent level wasn’t there but they had the second worst defense last year. Belichock assistsnts notoriously struggle as head coaches. Definitely reason to worry about with him.

You just said it, and again one year doesn't tell the story.

One game doesn't tell the story.
One year doesn't tell the story.

What tells the story?

While you people are busy masturbating your minds away on DVOAs and other nonsense, this is the only stat that matters, Points Against. And none of you can figure out how the Pats make the Super Bowl with such a "crappy" defense, this is how.... the dreaded Eagles defense gave up one less point than the Pats. 2017 NFL Team Total Stats - National Football League - ESPN

I wasn't picking a side here....just curious what told the story.

2017 NE D was an anomaly. 5th in PPG; 29th in YPG - crazy.
