Come on. The basketball in game threads are ridiculous. Miss a 3 to start the game and the “I guess the boys aren’t really into tonight” starts and it makes the “We’re a basketball school” crowd sound even more ridiculous than it already does.

I admit to being a casual at best Tennessee basketball fan, but the way the threads go for the team I just can’t even visit them anymore. (Example: up ten, but didn’t score in two straight offensive trips: “well, here’s where the wheels fall off. Won’t score again.” In this scenario there’s 8 minutes to go in the game.)

My buddy just texted me the same thing . Have to win tonight and versus GT. I think splitting with UNC and a tournament game is the most likely out of the 3 out of 4 hypothetical.

Well it took Moore OT to be the only player other than Hurt to score in double figures. Nobody got theirs tonight. I think maybe Hurt mightve won ACC POY though. He‘s been on a tear. Duke can still get in, but it sounds like it’s gonna take 3 straight W’s to pull it off. I still think it’s possible.

Moore cleaning up after Steward and Goldwire was the only reason we even got to OT. I have no idea where Roach was tonight. He was timid early then just disappeared

Also, no one is more respectful of the pandemic than I am, but I’m flabbergasted by how much the play by play guys miss by not being there.
the three off the shot clock and Duke’s out of bounds trying to run down the baseline are two examples tonight. I saw both clearly. But I don’t have to continually talk while I watch to be fair.

I agree, but at least we didn’t have Bilas’ 94 feet thing that they always play while actual basketball is going on. The segment is good, but damn it’s not more important than the game .

Dear 2020-21 College Basketball Season,

I don't understand you. Like not at all.

Because of this, outside of Gonzaga and Baylor (and possibly Meechigan) I will be totally just rando picking my tournament bracket challenge this year.

I'm way late on this comment, but, to the Duke fans on the board:

If, for instance, Tyler Hansbrough is ever the head coach of a college team, and he brings his team to Duke for a game and beats you, it hurts every bit as much as a loss to Carolina...maybe even more.
