It really is a thin line. That's the nature of baseball. We were a pitch and hit away from a series win at #1 LSU a week ago, and had we played anywhere other than @ Missouri to start SEC play, we would have had a great chance of winning that series. It is what it is. Can't really get too mad at this point in the season.

Last years team brought a huge hammer(mindset).... This team isn't that team and is struggling mentally to find itself... We look like the nail this year

Don't overanalyze it. We've played 2 of the top 3 teams in the country the last two weeks and swept a decent Aggies team before that. It's hard to really know where we stand at this point. We will know more after this series but even then it may not be accurate.

I get that but what aspect of the game do we look good at in any consistency at all?... Tbh it looks like we may can take the Ole Miss route last year... We aren't a good baseball team right now

At this point, I think we are what our record says we are. Know that sounds cliche, but let's be honest, our play is what it is. No sugar coating it or pretending that it's any and everything other than our play.

Ole Miss dealt with injuries early. Pitchers if I'm not mistaken. Not apples to apples.

Our team last year spoiled us and we expect the same with this team and it’s not near the same. We have pieces, but the pieces we lost are most key. Still feel like we will catch lightening in a bottle and find our way
