Putting the HRs aside, the 2022 team blasted the SEC. We only lost 4 regular season games. 4. Swept through the SEC tournament.

The only problem for that team was that it was too easy and they happened to cool off for 1 weekend after 3.5 months. They never learned how to dig deep because they never needed it.

Why do we continuously talk about the 22’ team and nobody mentions the 20’ team season cut short due to Covid?..talk about taking college baseball by storm…they were 15-2 curb stomping anyone they faced…strictly on potential purposes only..that’s the one team I wish we could have witnessed finishing the season out..possibly even seeing how far they made it to Omaha …outside of Tony’s first season..every team he’s had has done well..it’s no shocker at this point..he’s got the recipe for success.
