The Official Kentucky @ Tennessee Series Thread (Fri. 5/12 6:30PM EST SEC NET+) (Sat. 5/13 Noon EST SEC Network) (Sun. 5/14 1PM EST SEC NET+)

I was going to complain about the weather in my area which is 87° and mostly cloudy. Then I checked the weather warning for Knoxville and then you posted this, so I'll just shut up about it being mostly cloudy.

Your "walking trail" is a river. Not a stream or tributary. Being unfamiliar with what that walking trail normally looks like, all I see is a vast amount of water.

Is the video you posted anywhere near your house?

Is your house at risk?

Can you leave if it is?
No, no and yes, for me. That’s down in the city.

Probably not enough Schools have one in SEC to compete, wonder why Vanderbilt doesnt have a softball team

Let’s be real; I understand the difficulties posed by Title IX, but schools in the Big Ten and SEC are rich enough to sponsor every single sport if they truly wanted to. It’s just that, obviously, rifle and water polo are sunk costs.

No, we’re good here up in the suburbs. That’s downtown and the city is built on swamp land so unfortunately everything floods all the time.

Yes, they’ve banned collisions, but that doesn’t mean you HAVE to slide as long as you don’t make contact. You can peel off at second base. No one hardly does it, but it just got me thinking about it. As long as you don’t interfere, I don’t believe there is a rule that you have to slide.

A little hard not to slide because if you don't the 2nd baseman/S.S. will throw the ball at your head. Once it hits you, then you are called for interference. I have heard recently, last 10years, there is some sliding rules at 2nd.

I appreciate you asking. You can see our old home under water in Hurricane Harvey at the 1:45 mark of this video.
