I took a nap during the rain delay, but it looks like I didn’t miss anything. Ky has quality hitters and pitchers so taking the series is a “win for our club.

I still think we can host but a 2nd seed isn’t the end of the world, esp if this team can build confidence on the road vs Jr.

I’m concerned about JD since a sore shoulder could impact his swing. Finals end in a day or two so his focus can be on around the clock therapy and treatment if it’s just a sprain or bruise.

Go Vols and the best is yet to come for this team!

I somehow missed that Condredge Holloway threw out the first pitch yesterday before the Vols took the series against KY. (siap)

Our record compared to UK is close, but they are getting help from playing a good OOC schedule against mid majors that are high in the RPI. They also have more road wins.

Pearl used to do it in basketball. I know the SEC itself is very difficult, but I wish TV would project a little bit before a season and play a few more games against some top 100 RPI mid majors.

Dude has a bit of a limp. Looks like his hip. Loved watching him on the field and loved that tune!

There was a rain delay about the 3rd, we were already down 4-0 I think. Beam didn’t have it today. Halvorsen pitched well might have left him out there too long, debatable. We left, at last count, 16 on or so.

In my weird brain I just keep going back to the beginning of the season. The chemistry. Might be more of a feeling than statistics, it’s a bit confounding at this point, at least to me. Anyway, we go to SC next weekend, a series win there might cure all that ails us.
