The Official Kentucky @ Tennessee Series Thread (Fri. 5/12 6:30PM EST SEC NET+) (Sat. 5/13 Noon EST SEC Network) (Sun. 5/14 1PM EST SEC NET+)

There was a rain delay about the 3rd, we were already down 4-0 I think. Beam didn’t have it today. Halvorsen pitched well might have left him out there too long, debatable. We left, at last count, 16 on or so.

In my weird brain I just keep going back to the beginning of the season. The chemistry. Might be more of a feeling than statistics, it’s a bit confounding at this point, at least to me. Anyway, we go to SC next weekend, a series win there might cure all that ails us.
Despite our miserable road record, the loss today might stick in our collective craw and have us riled and ready against SCjr. They've not been playing their best lately and might be ripe for us to steal a road series. Like you said, it might be our cure and spring board for the post season...host or not. My biggest concerns are Dickey's health, Ahuna's funk and Beam's struggles of late.

Well glad it was mothers day and I missed todays game! Looks like we were getting runners on base but not getting them home. I’ll take the series win any day though. Can’t wait for the usc series.

That’s bs. Men on 1st and 3rd no outs. Base runner on third has been taught since he was 10 to make sure the ball gets thru. If you played abd had a half way decent coach you would have been taught that as well.
My former coach is literally in the High School Hall of Fame and set records for most state championships and most # of wins, but you should write a baseball book with all of your knowledge and condescending “wit“.

When this team is on they can beat anyone.
However they can also not show up.
I do believe the future looks bright

That is not the case but still funny.
Somewhat related but not really. I knew a guy who just refused to cuss even after high school. We both kind of went our separate ways in college, and reconnected after we both moved back to our hometown.

He got a job as a car mechanic somewhere, and the first time I saw him after getting that job.. he cussed more than I ever did even in high school lol

Said it elsewhere that this team reminds me of the hoops team in that same regard. They're maddeningly inconsistent, but when they come to play, there's not a team out there that they can't beat. Hoops team surprised me with how far they were able to go despite not having ZZ. This team might just have a surprise or three for us as well.

Just thought the same thing. Looks pretty solid top to bottom....assuming ahuna breaks out of his funk a bit.
Yeah, brah. You're on a real cred roll with the pick 'em. Now you're a lineup expert. Keep up the good work! Moran.

Weird day at LNS. Bipolar weather and couldn‘t buy a hit with runners in scoring position. Lots of hard hit balls right at them. KY hit HRs today while we hit warning track balls. That’s baseball. Happy to win the series. Let’s figure out a way to win at SC and get Dickey healthy. He’s the Captain and the straw that stirs the drink.
