I would be curious as to how much left-handed pitching he saw at Kansas last year. I know he’s seen an inordinate amount of lefties in Knoxville. Plus, I think injuries and missed time early on factor in more than we realize, in addition to incredibly tough competition.

College hitters do not typically have a lot of power and you do see more left handers with very good arsenals in the minor leagues that are still working on developing consistent control of their pitches.

TN was always in the lead so nothing to troll about imo. The only possible criticism would be not going to the pen earlier and a base running blunder. However, the coaches know more than me/us, errors occur and KY has quality players.

I’m happy with the results thus far, regardless of tomorrow’s outcome.
Go Vols!
Bingo! That was when they showed their, eh, let us say, faces. Hard to tell with that crew. Then the Vols responded in aces and they scattered like cockroaches. 🪳🪳🪳😂

Would you trade a CWS championship if you had to suck it up for 3 or 4 years afterwards?

That’s a good question. If I was a player, easy decision. As a fan, I think I’d rather be competitive most years. That’s what makes this year’s squad so intriguing. It’s not perfect, but everybody is trying, whatever else happens, I can live with it.

The worst thing about College Baseball is the season comes to an end. If ya get the trophy, great.
