The "official" Lost thread

Do you really not see where the whole alternate timeline thing is going?

I must admit that I've had to play catch up this season as my schedule has been hectic in the evenings, it is entirely possible I may have missed or forgotten some important scenes.

Everyone is going to die in the effort to stop the MIB. Once he is killed, their consciousness will go to alternate timeline where they all will have the memories of the island, which will be convenient as Desmond is gathering them all together.

That's where it looks to be heading.

Don't be surprised if a LOT of questions get answered Sunday. When has a season finale been what we expected them to be? Just saying.

Ding ding we have a winner.

Or at least it looks that way....or it will end with them all eating smores with Smocke by a campfire.

Exactly, looks that way. Some folks were talking as this was already proven. I too believe this is the way it's headed but this show has had so many turns, who the hell knows.

I was wondering ....

Since ABC has decided to air the 2 hr. series pilot of LOST Saturday night if any one else thinks there may be a tie-in, or even multiple tie-ins to the series finale, beyond just being the start of the adventure. I will admit that I have not seen the pilot since it aired, but I have a feeling somethings up.........

Well, the board game pawns. Pretty sure that's on the pilot. There's also a list of people the others are to capture, can't remember who all was on it.

michael emerson (ben) was also supposed to just be in a few episodes but they liked his portrayal so much that they made him a main character. it's stuff like that that makes me beleive that they haven't had all this entirely planned out from the beginning. i'm sure they did with alot of it, but alot of it has also been on the whim it seems. not complaining, just an observation.

I heard three/four seasons back they hadn't written the whole story. It was when the network guaranteed them three or four seasons to finish is when they wrote and spaced everything out to tell the story.

I've heard they had the beginning and the end and a general idea for the middle but that people have exaggerated how the whole thing was planned. I'm sure they had a general idea but I'm sure things were changed.

BTW if you have Netflix the first 5 seasons are availabe for instant view, plus I think the first 5 seasons are still on ABC.com.

That episode cost them $10mil, they are still trying to make some revenue out of it. Plus its an awesome episode. If you haven't seen it since it aired, you will be shocked at how good it is.

I read the other day it was 12 million...I still think they are looking to "refresh" our memories of that day\event\time. I may very well be reaching, but I still say something is up.
