You are right, that's a much better way of wording it. Did he pay for a hooker, probably. Do I care or is that impeachable? No to both. Did he likely operate in the gray area in some business dealing, probably. Do I care or is that impeachable? No to both

If Trump and Giuliani felt the need to threaten Cohen to keep him from carrying out this testimony then they knew he had credible and verifiable dirt on Trump. Cohen just implicated Trump in at least 5 separate crimes(some before and some while in office), not including the possibility of collusion. He even provided documents to back them up.

By statute in this case it's the assistant attorney general. Other components were authorized by other mechanisms,. The fact that so many moving parts are all coming to the same conclusion tends to show both that the conclusion is correct and that the investigations were justified from the outset.

Cohen is going to prison. Probably a lot of this is nothing more than him entering the echo chamber of the democrats in Congress to seek their approval of how well he regurgitates what they’ve all been spouting for two years. I’m sure he’s hoping that some high level Dems can encourage the right people for Cohen to serve a shorter sentence. We’ll see. I’ll probably read it all myself when I get some more time. I’m sure it’s probably very entertaining if nothing else.

Can we discuss the testimony? What was damning about this?

It seemed to me like a lot of nothing. Those of you who find it damning. What’re the worst things for trump you feel came out of this?

Weisselberg will be subpoenaed. Trump's poor secretary will be subpoenaed. I hope they bring Don Jr. back so we can play over/under on invocations of the 5th.

Lots of leads on various forms of tax and financial crimes and campaign finance fraud. This is a very, very bad day for Trump.

Oh, and his bootlickers looked pathetic
