Huh? When a defendant pleads guilty to a charge in court, the judge in turn, finds them guilty of that crime. A judge will typically say something like "Having plead guilty, the court finds you guilty." upon acceptance of the plea. A "conviction" does not have to result from the verdict of a jury. Michael Cohen, is indeed, a convicted felon now, as a result of his pleading guilty to a felony and the court accepting his plea.
So, you trust the FEC now and form your opinion based on that? What is the former head of FEC's name?I don't think what he did was a campaign finance violation, and neither did the former head of the FEC that regulates such things.

Hans Anatol von Spakovsky (born March 11, 1959) is an American attorney and a former member of the Federal Election Commission (FEC). He is the manager of the Heritage Foundation's Election Law Reform Initiative and a senior legal fellow in Heritage's Meese Center for Legal and Judicial Studies
Do you think he has an agenda. lol!
You see, according to the media, the SDNY were pit-bulls. They were the career prosecutors free of scope limits and restraint. That was going to make all the difference. In fact, the real danger for Trump was never Robert Mueller’s investigation, no it’s always been the SDNY and they aren’t going to let this go. There were even #SDNY hashtags and T-shirts.
Well, so much for that. It was just announced yesterday that the SDNY’s investigation into the Trump organization and the Michael Cohen related “hush money” payments is over.
Judge William H. Pauley III announced that prosecutors in the Southern District of New York revealed this development to the court in a status report, as media companies including The New York Times, Associated Press, CNN, and Dow Jones & Co. have pushed to unseal the search warrant materials related to the case. The end of the investigation likely means no additional charges will be filed against anyone, including the president.
“We are pleased that the investigation surrounding these ridiculous campaign finance allegations is now closed,” Trump’s attorney Jay Sekulow said in a statement. “We have maintained from the outset that the President never engaged in any campaign finance violation.”And with that, the LAST GREAT HOPE for the left to nail Trump on something criminal has breathed its last breath. There will be no Trump in handcuffs. The SDNY isn’t going to expose mountains of fraud within the Trump organization and Cohen will not be bringing anyone along with him to prison.
The SDNY Just Crushed One of the Left's Biggest Dreams
AOC, Ilhan Omar accuse Trump of 'spewing fascist ideology' after rally
Democratic Reps. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Ilhan Omar alleged Thursday that President Trump is steering the country toward fascism, as they ramped up their criticism of the president in the wake of a fiery rally where he repeatedly blasted the freshman lawmakers.
Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., speaking to reporters on Capitol Hill, reacted to the president’s recent comments -- as well as the rally crowd's reaction -- by saying it shows they're “not in politics anymore.”
“We are not in politics anymore. We are in racism… we are in a fascistic government,” she said.
Ocasio-Cortez also said the rhetoric used in recent days could pose “personal security issues,” not just for lawmakers like herself, but other persons of color. The New Yorker added she trusts Capitol security officials will take care of security but is fearful more for immigrant communities and other persons of color.
Moments later, Omar also weighed in on Capitol Hill, saying: "I want to make sure that every single person who is in this country, who is aspiring to become part of the American fabric, understands nothing this president says should be taken to heart.
"We are Americans as much as anyone else, this is our country, and we are where we belong. I told people on my election night in the great state of Minnesota, we don’t just welcome refugees, we send them to represent us.
"And as much as he is spewing his fascist ideology on stage, telling U.S. citizens to go back because they do not agree with his detrimental policies for our country, we tell people that here in the United States, dissent is patriotic. Here in the United States, disagreement is welcomed, debate is welcomed – especially in the people’s House."
