He may not race the rest of the year. If he doesn't, good for him for putting his health first. I am a huge Dale Jr fan and him not racing really hurts the interest level for me lol but I'll still watch. He has really taken some hard licks this year.

Real question is, if Junior can't go, who drives the 88 for the rest of the season? I don't see Gordon doing all of the races. I'd expect to see a rotation.

My guess it would be one of the JR Motorsports drivers: Justin Allgaier who has recent Cup experience or Elliott Sadler. I could also see them giving some more drives to Alex Bowman too.

I think you'd see Gordon potentially return for Bristol and Martinsville. As for the other races, I'd expect that group of drivers that you named.

That would be a travesty..Retired should mean retired..Period..Gordon said no way he races again..And that's the way it should be..Too many young drivers available who deserve the 88 ride, even if it's only temporary..JMHO

That was a good race. Would have liked to have seen Larson and Pierce duke it out for that W though. Pierce was stout.

When somebody wrecks, there's always the chance they can get hurt. So, I'd rather there be no wrecks.
