Even as disappointed as the fans might be, a win against Vandy will put UT in a really good bowl. If UT had won the east and gone to ATL and got their asses whooped, they would've dropped to one of those tier bowls.
I don't really care about bowls. I'd rather be able to claim SEC east champs. Sugar bowl used to mean you were the best SEC team. This year it means you have the 2nd best record in the east.

Believe me, it's disappointing, but if the team had shown up against SC, we wouldn't be having this conversation. We'd be in a position to win our next two and possibly go to the CFP.
