I’m not saying they will win that regional. It’s more about them setting up the best ratings IF Wake does win that regional. They would be stupid not to set that up. Heck, if I were in charge that’s exactly what I would setup too. I can’t blame them for wanting it.

Possibly more for some seats. Wouldn’t doubt it one bit. If the Super Regional vs LSU in 2021 was seeing tickets more than $500 then I can’t imagine what those Wake tickets will be.

I still don’t think we will get slotted with them…I think @fryeguy93 had an opinion on that…about not letting a team full of players who have seen every pitch out of Burns for two years….we would destroy him…something along those lines

MSU will probably end up going to someone like Oklahoma now that I think about it. And A&M-Texas will be the regional opposite of them to setup the potential Oklahoma-Texas or MSU-A&M super regional.

They will still have an opportunity if they win their regional and the 2 seed or worse opposite of them win their regional. Crazier things have happened.

I suppose it’s possible they give Georgia the 8 seed and slot Wake in there with the potential of a Wake matchup in Game 1 of the CWS. Ratings would be great for that also but something tells me they want to see how crazy that game would be in Knoxville. Too good to pass up.

I believe FSU gets #8 seed by making it to ACC Championship game.

Also I think UNC pulls off the #2 overall seed .
