Nice choice of pictures.
...And thanks for again doing this all year... This thread really has become the glue for the whole
Thanks to those who are regularly on this board. I began watching college baseball during covid and followed the game threads since.

There are a lot of good people on this forum so thanks again. Hopefully, our Vols will have another month of baseball and the only ones standing @ the end of the season.

I’d be curious to know when they played Missouri and Ga , neither of em started the season too good but got it going and played much better the second half

I will be hosting a watch party at my house. There will be cold beer, High Noons, Buffalo Trace, and whatever I decide to grill after work. Probably rotate between burgers, brats, pork chops, and chicken thighs.

All are invited!

Feel free to bring more alcohol and/or snacks.

Where are you located? I’m not positive I can make it to a game but I may be able to do something like this!

2024 Baseball Cumulative Statistics - Northern Kentucky University Athletics

The above is a link to the Norse statistics if anyone is interested.
I was surprised to see that they have 6 players hitting above .300

They obviously don't go up against SEC level of pitching, but I'm impressed until someone else tells me some reason not to be and it's my hope that someone does have good reasons not to be. I honestly thought the first game would be against someone with much worse statistics than the Norse have.

I think I'll look up their home field dimensions, maybe that explains some or all of it.
I think think it has more to do with the competition than the stadium dimensions:

Northern KY is 149 in RPI. They are 6-11 across Quads 1-3 and 27-11 across quad 4. SOS of 269.

They score a lot but also give up a lot of runs. Look to have one decent pitcher. We’ll probably see him. We play our game, we should still win comfortably.

All that said, “Lipscomb”. Their RPI is 228.

Got my email to buy Kentucky regional tickets…hahahahaha anybody need a pair….lol
I mean, I’d go decked out in orange from head to toe and heckle the cats the WHOLE weekend!!
I did that in Rupp one time for a Kentucky/Auburn game and didn’t think I would come out alive.
It was a lot of fun though.

I knew NKU played Mizzou didn’t realize they had played UGA too. In 6 games vs SEC teams on the road they put up 51 runs (8.5/game). The more I read and hear about them, the more I see this game being a potential dogfight. Could see that game falling somewhere between the Wright St and Campbell results over the last few years.
