Same. My UT jacket hangs in my closet. It still has mustard and ketchup stains where i was pelted with open packets in the south endzone….right after Peyton made the entire defense look silly on the bootleg TDwas there, too, abd was only vol fan on group.
We were in upper deck and got our seat as Joey Kent caught the ball
Those are small like 5 row steel bleachers. I meant the huge temporary stands that used to be down the left field line before this years expansion. They were there for 2 years or so.
Those actual stands have been moved over to Sherri Parker Lee. I don’t think there’s enough room to move them beyond the right field area. Those are small like 5 row steel bleachers. So Northern Kentucky can swing it, but pretty awful on the mound. And Southern Miss doesn’t have quite as much pop as I would have expected.Found this break down figured I'd share it pretty interesting..View attachment 643856
Speaking of Wright State, NKU went 4-3 against them this year. There is a "By Game" tab on the link Drew posted (#24).I knew NKU played Mizzou didn’t realize they had played UGA too. In 6 games vs SEC teams on the road they put up 51 runs (8.5/game). The more I read and hear about them, the more I see this game being a potential dogfight. Could see that game falling somewhere between the Wright St and Campbell results over the last few years.
On Saturday in Dayton, NKU baseball coach Dizzy Peyton said the way his second-seeded Norse had finished the season – with seven wins in the final eight games and a perfect three straight to capture the Horizon League championship and the program’s first ever NCAA Division I tournament berth while dispatching archrival and top-ranked Wright State on the Raiders’ field and then scoring 23 runs in the championship game against Youngstown State — was “surreal.”
On Monday things got real for the never-say-die Norse as they learned where they’ll take their 35-22 record and a hot-hitting team that’s battled back from adversity time and again for this record-breaking season.
The good news: NKU fans can drive to the games although they’ll pass through Lexington where the No. 2 UK Wildcats will be hosting another of the 16 NCAA regionals that NKU might have wished it were sent to.
The bad news: Well, the Norse will be facing a team that’s the best of the best – the dominant team in the SEC, which produced a record 11 of the 64 teams in this NCAA field – most of any conference ever. And a team that’s almost unbeatable at home and coming off a championship in the SEC Tournament.
I don’t think you change anything from the normal weekend rotation. Stamos/Causey game 1.So NKU can swing it and played UGA close in 2 of 3. Who is our starting pitcher for that game? I figure you are probably saving Beam for Southern Miss, but you don’t want to go too light on the mound against a power hitting team with nothing to lose.
We need to be patient at the plate. I love some aggressiveness but we need to cut down our whiff rate .Found this break down figured I'd share it pretty interesting..View attachment 643856
