I got hung up on facts ( it’s my weakness ) he could have chosen many subjects to hang the Trump hat on but the market was too temping . It’s hard to make that claim when a 5 second google search gives you 5th straight week of gains , most since July .

I was never on the Trump train and I jumped off the Republican train when he became the nominee. I saw a fraud, a conman, a compulsive liar and a person who I believ(e)d to be a racist. What was worse was that so many of my friends and family didn't seem to care and the more he raved on the more they loved it. I did not like it at all and I may have been the first and original NeverTrumper. I always considered myself to be a moderate Republican. I have my doubts now that the Party will ever be what it once was after this.

I don't believe for a second you were or are a moderate R. But as far as the party never being what it once was that is the best thing that could ever happen.

You could be right but you can count the Liberals I've voted for before 2018 on one hand (I'm 70 yrs old). I think the total is 4. Probably I'm most liberal for supporting a woman's right to choose and most conservative for supporting 2A. I call myself fiscally conservative and socially more liberal. Therefore a moderate Republican because I've almost always voted for Republican candidates.

The party not being what it once was is the reason I left. Well that and the emergence of Trumpism.

Awesome thread. So because this is year 2 of his first term and he hasn't fulfilled his big promises, that means he cant or wont. So then. That must mean that those of us who voted for him are going to abandon him? Good grief "counselor" do you not have anything better to do than worry about what us Trump supporters may or may not do or think? You are the definition of amateur hour.
