I’ll give it a little worse than that but I don’t wanna start a debate so what’s the next best game or most anticipated game to come out on PS5?
God of War Ragnarok will be the next huge AAA game and I'm very much looking forward to it. It's still slated to come out this year but I have a sneaking suspicion that it might slip into 2023.
Also, there's a game coming in October by Square/Enix called Forspoken that looks interesting. I'm looking forward to learning more about that one as well.
Meanwhile I'm currently playing Horizon Forbidden West and Gran Turismo 7 and really enjoying both quite a bit.
Yeah, my monitor does 1440p @ 120hz now by somehow tricking the ps5 into thinking its a 4k monitor when it's not, so I probably won't see any difference, but it will be nice to have as a default option.Yeah, I already bought a HDMI 2.1 monitor, but still happy they have brought this to PS. 1080p cap with VRR is disappointing, but hopefully they can improve on that at a later date.
I got one of those fancy LGTV’s with low latency and 120hz support. I wonder if it’ll support 1440p at 120hz too.Yeah, my monitor does 1440p @ 120hz now by somehow tricking the ps5 into thinking its a 4k monitor when it's not, so I probably won't see any difference, but it will be nice to have as a default option.
Which HDMI 2.1 monitor are you rocking these days?

Well I play on performance mode, so most games I play are at 1080p to support 60-120fps anyways. I meant that I wonder if they will allow you to go up to 1440p in order to maintain that fps. If I want to play in 4K at all, then I have to go to resolution mode and assume I’ll be playing 30fps in all of my gamesWould have no reason to. This really only affects 1440p monitors which flood the market.
What tv do you have? If your tv supports 1440p then yeah I would suppose you could.Well I play on performance mode, so most games I play are at 1080p to support 60-120fps anyways.
