I think it's a combination of things. Hit one early and built a little lead and got away from the game plan. They should have pounded it inside to help create space on the perimeter. Once behind, we jack em to try to catch up.

This is one of those coulda, woulda, shoulda, games. You could point to bad 3-point shooting, missing consecutive free throws in the second half, missing easy shots, and the list keeps going. Oh yeah, coaching..It all comes down to coaching and we have none.

Look man. I think we have an average coach who gets average results with the average talent he has from his average recruiting.

Martin is deserving of criticism but today wasn't a bad coaching job. Your view is skewed because you hate him.

Just like when you ripped him for calling a timeout as if McRae was just going to walk to the basket on that play. Your view is skewed because you have given up on CCM and you are convinced that your way is right and his is wrong.

I know many ppl want Martin gone for whatever reason, and that is your right..But to blame this game on him is just stupid...The only difference between this team, and big games are the team's star or stars..Lofton and his counterpart would take over games when the team needed it, where the McRae's of this team, don't have that killer instinct in them..Fire Martin, I really don't care, but please stop making him the scapegoat for not being able to hit open 3's, free throws, or the lack of a well tested Senior like Barton having no impact, in such an important game...I really want to know who u ppl want or think we can get to coach the University of Tn Men's Basketball Team for the amount of money we can actually pay a coach..Don't think we can pull a big name coach and actually be able to pay him...Please know that the changes we have had in football the last 10 years, limits what we can actually do...Tennessee men's basketball has never be considered a powerhouse, so please think a long those lines...lol

Shallow blame and shame. Perhaps you left out...Cuonzo can't make lay ups, shoot 3's, or defend 3's against KY. If the players had a better coach, they would have made more of those. :crazy:

We have the best facilities in the SEC and the resources to pay whatever it takes to lure a big name coach, if the powers that be decide to. Or, we have one of the best coaches in the country living in Knoxville, one that took us to our only Elite 8 and #1 ranking in program history. Of course we have never been considered a " powerhouse" in basketball, but, there is no reason to say we can't become one.

I must say I have not been impressed at all with the Cats team...they may come together and be great but right now man they're no where near that...

You can accept mediocre fine, good for you. But I choose to think UT can do better and should. Just because we are not considered a powerhouse does not mean it cannot change. You sound just like this team plays, it's OK to almost be average. Makes me sick.

You don't know wtf you are talking about and I far from hate CM. Would give anything for him to make the right adjustments and win here.

As its obvious to anyone who knows the game how this team should play 100% of the time. Multiple early buckets and fast break buckets in the game. Two fast break buckets in the last 25 minutes and one was with 50 seconds left.
Fact is I see more of the game than you and analyze it. You don't like what you hear and make it personal as in I hate CM.
You have any ideas why we didn't shoot well from outside? Because we didn't get rhythm shots and often pulled up with a hand in our face going one on one. Stemming from a halfcourt game. That's simple analysis. First 15 minutes was great coaching. The rest wasn't and didn't give our team their best chance to win. That's his ****ing job.

With your brilliance let's just shut the friggin program down, to hell with the 20,000 seat complex. Settling for mediocrity is not what Tennessee is all about but your thinking is what happens when there is no hope.
