Yes, I "insulted" the kid because he was stupid enough to get a T. Forget blaming the player who actually got the T. Blame OrangeBalls because Washpun was stupid enough to get the T.

It's crap like that. Get off your pedestal. I'm not blaming you for the T I'm blaming you for blowing a pointless and erroneous T out of proportion. For, yes, INSULTING a kid for doing what has happened throughout basketball for this entire decade. How is doing that stupid when pretty much everyone would have bet a T wouldnt have been called prior to that moment? I'm also doubting your "coaching knowledge" given you are strictly using game minutes as a barometer of contribution to the team. CCM is a match up guy and might have felt the lineup he sent out was the proper one for FL. Different personnel for different situations...what a concept. He seems to have FL down pact. Wes was in the game and it was not mop up. If it was mop up then we clearly cannot act like this T was a potential game changer. Wes has also contributed greatly to the teams successes and failures like every player has.

With all that said.. I will agree to disagree on this matter. I would run my team a little differently than you. Oh and btw.. you have no idea what I have coached so lets leave the blind assumptions at the door shall we?

I'm on no pedestal. I called it a dumb, selfish act because it was. He put himself above the team in a situation where he was in the game in the last minute because 2 other players had already fouled out. If he was truly a key player, he would've already seen the court before then. I'd say it about any other player that had come in at the last minute and did the same thing.

I like Washpun and his fire, but I don't like selfish acts. At that point in the game, it was just a stupid act that could've been avoided. He's just a freshman, so he'll learn.

Obviously, Martin took exception to him getting a T also. He yanked him right after he got a T. Maybe you can explain why Martin didn't leave him in the game. I'd bet it had something to do with the T.

Oh come on let's stop exaggerating. There are few players that wouldn't yell "Get that **** outta here" after a block like that. It happens in the NBA every week. Get off your high horse. Hell even I yelled it from my couch!
