I would strongly disagree on this. You don't know these guys. There may be some but not a team full. Every team in every sport has some.

By “full of” I mean the starters which generally “lead” the team and set the pace.

Caveat - this post is not a full and complete analysis on the makeup of the team or my full and complete thoughts on the starting lineup.

I’m sure I’ll get put on blast but we have a team full of prima donna’s who think they are entitled.

They are going to have to learn the hard way because they collectively haven’t learned and we are half way thru the season.

I hope they get their heads right. If they do, they can compete.
Ok. I will say it: cheap take. Name names. Who is a prima donna? Who thinks they are entitled? Tell me who, and back it up. Are we doing as well as the talent on our team seems to call for? No. Does that, I. Itself, mean we are entitled prima Donna’s? Also no.

You can be disappointed in the performance of the team without attributing it to “entitlement.”

Am I happy with our results so far? No. Is it because we are entitled? No.

Your criticism is valid; your reasoning is not.

This just isn’t true. I’ve had the pleasure of meeting most of them. A bunch of competitive young men who represent TN well. They volunteer their time in the community, attend fan events, sign autographs for kids after games, and are good teammates. They want to win more than any fan. Sometimes I think they put too much pressure on themselves trying to live up to the hype and all of the unrealistic expectations. It’s hard to follow the 20, 21, and 22 teams without having the roster full of studs and veteran players.

This team, they make me feel like I caught myself in my zipper.

I don’t think the back half compares at all. Our rpi will remain high if so and that works in our favor. We are currently ranked 6th with ELO
By RPI and opponents league records it’s better for the final 6 than first 4. Even if you split it in half it’s not much different. LSU/UF/Ark in first 5. UK/Vandy/Scsr in the second 5. UK’s schedule gets way tougher so we’ll see how they shake out but they use played LSU well enough to make me think they’re in the upper 1/2 of this league.

Rucker is an idiot and knows nothing about sports. Copies and pastes his twitter revelations from others. If he was still in college he’d be expelled for plagiarism.
Don’t necessarily disagree. That said this statement was accurate.

You are being far too critical. They are trying their hardest and want to win more than you will ever know.

You are just a fan and your criticism doesn’t mean crap.

You are the problem. You don’t have any idea how hard this is for them.

Just don’t speak anymore.

I saw the photos of those young men in the pediatric cancer ward. That is not “entitlement.” Not on the field. Not off it.

Criticizing our performance is fair. Criticizing character because of disappointment with that performance, that is cheap. It is a more accurate measure of who exactly is “entitled.”

Theodore Roosevelt’s “Man in the Arena” comes to mind.

Dammit. I was going to bed. Now I’m pissed. Did I mention the children’s hospital visits? Those kids are entitled? Forgive me, but that’s a garbage take.

Oh, and #FCancer.

Personally, I think you’re full of it.

The feeling is mutual.

And logically, you obviously think that Frank and Tony are full of it too since they dared to get the bullpen working after the error on the laser shot to left field earlier in the game.
