You want to know why this gent is an award winning Professor? Well for one, he has a positive attitude. It’s your attitude that often determines your altitude, not your aptitude. In business, the winners are often identified by this same trait. Negativity becomes a self fulfilling prophecy.
Absolutely. I realized I probably came across as a “Ted Talk” but appreciate your positive attitude and how you support the team win or lose.Hehe I appreciate that, TaylorVol. If I gave up on my student’s every time they encountered a rough patch, I’d never hav any students left. I try to keep everyone focused on the goal and determined to accomplish it ALL while truly believing they will be I have seen and know their true potential. I feel the same exact way with this VOL team.
Cold temps don't cause illness. Colds are viral.I still think the cold thing is ridiculous. The guys had on the coats that were provided by the team to wear in cold weather. It was cold. When you are not playing, pitchers, extra fielders and such you wear the coats to stay warm so when you are called on your are ready. What did everyone want them to do? Wear short sleeves and get sick.
"Back in my day we walked to school, in the snow, barefooted, both ways." Flat ridiculous.
i think the cold weather thing gets overblown, but there is pretty clearly a lack of toughness from some on the team. Even Tony V. has alluded to it. Now whether that is physical or mental toughness is another question.I still think the cold thing is ridiculous. The guys had on the coats that were provided by the team to wear in cold weather.
