It’s pretty obvious now that this is a full blown rebuilding year. Only strength coming from LY was starting pitching & that’s below par. Hopefully they can find a way to win enough to make the SEC tournament & get in the NCAA but nothing is for sure now.
Everything was a strength last year. It's honestly the best team I ever saw.
They outscored opponents by 421 runs.
LSU (currently leading the SEC in runs scored) would have to average over 12 runs a game in the remaining 20 games to equal the total of what Tennessee did last year.
They were a machine. In all phases
look at CTV’s records which show improvement YOY since he’s been here. This year was a rebuild and an outlier. I still think team will finish strong and show lots of fight. CTV is the right man for the job.Hopeful thinking?
last year was great, until Notre dame came to town. Was that a one year outlier or is this year. Let’s hope it is since we’ve committed a lot of $ to our current coach.
You want to know why this gent is an award winning Professor? Well for one, he has a positive attitude. It’s your attitude that often determines your altitude, not your aptitude. In business, the winners are often identified by this same trait. Negativity becomes a self fulfilling prophecy.Awesome! Exactly where we need to be. Getting swept hurt (it always does) but we can make the win up on the back end.
Absolutely. Last year’s starters were simply OUTSTANDING. We will likely never have a team that loaded. COVID and less rounds in MLB draft allowed a very veteran roster to flourish. Lipsius, Ortega, Lawson, Lipscomb, Stevenson, Gilbert, Beck, and Russell. Are you kidding me? An elite lineup from 1 to 9.Don't forget Jordan Beck.
I doubt anyone will ever have a team that loaded again. At least not in our lifetimes.Absolutely. Last year’s starters were simply OUTSTANDING. We will likely never have a team that loaded.
